Objects shaped by pattern, texture and atmosphere — designed for contemporary living.
Pattern becomes surface. Surface becomes object. Kasai Weave and Kuba translate graphic rhythm into contemporary pieces designed to live naturally in modern interiors.
The Kuba are a distinct people with a rich artistic tradition in the Kasai region. Renowned for their raffia textiles, they developed a sophisticated visual language of geometric motifs, symbolising status, identity and knowledge.
Kuba textiles are made from handwoven raffia, with appliqué and embroidery techniques that create bold, layered surfaces and intricate geometric compositions.
Bold geometry, layered surfaces and rhythmic contrast are translated into contemporary objects for modern interiors.
